Shrine Pass - Vail Pass amazing veiws, groomed, closest trails system to Denver, approx. 1.25 hours, $6 fee per machine.
From Denver take I-70 west approx. 75 miles to exit # 190, cross over the highway to parking area.
This is our most recommended area because the trails are well marked, groomed and easy to access. The forest service provides full color maps at the trail head.
Winter Park - Frasier amazing views, groomed, approx. 1.5 hours.
Elk Creek Trailhead - Take I-70 West to US 40, follow US 40 North to downtown Frasier, turn left on County Road 73, Drive South for about 2.5 miles to a parking area off CR 73.
Breckenridge amazing views, groomed, approx. 1.3 hours.
From Denver take I-70 west to Frisco, take highway 9 south to Tiger Road, turn left and go about 5 miles East, the parking area is on the right side of the road.
Winter Park - Corona Pass great scenery, groomed trails, approx 1.5 hours
From Denver take I-70 west to Highway 40, take I-40 over Berthoud Pass, (drive carefully) continue till you see Winter Park ski resort on your left, look for a big sign that says Lakota at the stop light, take a right hand turn into the Lakota subdivision, go up the hill and take your first right on Arrow Trail, continue on Arrow trail till it ends, then take a left on the canal road, continue on that road till you get to the parking area. Remember, drive carefully, roads can be ice and snow packed. 4x4 only for this area.
